1. What GrandStand is

GrandStand is a family sports schedule aggregator. It lets you pull your kids' sports calendars into one shared link you can give to coaches, grandparents, and anyone else who wants to know when game day is.

2. Information we collect

• Account information — your email address, collected when you sign up or sign in with Google.
• Calendar feed URLs — the webcal/iCal URLs you add for each child's schedule.
• Event data — game titles, dates, times, and locations pulled from those feeds.
• Device location — only if you allow it, used momentarily in your browser to fetch a local weather forecast for upcoming events. Location data is never sent to our servers.

3. How we use your information

• To display your family's schedule to you and anyone you share your calendar link with.
• To send the weekly digest email (if you turn it on) — a summary of the upcoming week's games sent to your email address.
• To sync your calendar feeds on a daily schedule so the calendar stays current.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. Sharing and third parties

We use a small number of trusted services to run GrandStand:

• Supabase — database and authentication hosting.
• Vercel — web hosting and serverless functions.
• Google OAuth — optional sign-in via your Google account.
• Resend — transactional email delivery for the weekly digest.
• Open-Meteo — weather forecasts fetched directly from your browser using your coordinates. No account or API key is shared.
• Stripe — optional donation processing. No financial data touches our servers.

Your calendar data is accessible to anyone who has your share link. Keep that in mind when sharing — you can regenerate the link at any time from your dashboard to invalidate the old one.

5. Data retention

Your account and calendar data are stored for as long as your account is active. You can delete your feeds and events at any time from the dashboard. To request full account deletion, email us at the address below.

6. Children's privacy

GrandStand stores sports schedule information that may reference children by first name. We do not collect any directly identifying information about children (no birthdays, photos, school names, or health data). Parents and guardians control all data added to the app.

7. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the effective date above. Continued use of GrandStand after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
